YOUR RETREAT EXPERIENCE
Your retreat experience provides a unique opportunity for you to experience God's presence and His healing love. If you are facing an important life decision and need to hear from God directly, Healing Presence can be your "secret place" where you leave the distractions of life behind and begin to tune in to His "still small voice".
We recommend that you plan to stay a minimum of two nights and preferably a week in order to allow time to relax, unwind, and prepare to receive whatever God has for you.
To help cover the cost of utilities and maintenance, the registration fee for your retreat experience is $50 per day/night.
Your spiritual facilitators, Jim and Barbara Wilson, will be available to encourage you and to pray with you.
Jim also enjoys taking retreaters on a guided tour of the Father's Heart Labyrinth, explaining the Biblical symbolism behind its design. The labyrinth was constructed in 2001 on a two acre site near the water. It is symbolic of the journey of the believer into the Heart of Father God. As part of your retreat experience, you may want to walk the labyrinth privately, recording the insights you receive as the Holy Spirit reveals things to you.
Walking trails are available for your use, both along the beach surrounding the property and through the wooded areas on the retreat grounds. Other enjoyable activities available to you on-site are clam-digging (our sand bar and surrounding beach is considered to one of the best clamming areas in the area), bird-watching, star-gazing or just relaxing on the beach.
